The event was inaugurated by Inspector General Sanjay Gaur at the BSF Frontier headquarters in Guwahati. Addressing the gathering, he reaffirmed the BSF’s commitment to the welfare of its retirees, acknowledging the difficulties they often face regarding pension-related matters.

He also emphasised that the Pension Adalat will serve as a direct platform for pensioners to raise their concerns and receive immediate assistance.

As such, the issues raised during the Adalat will be incorporated into the administrative framework to further mitigate pension-related hardships. The BSF Guwahati Frontier has also shared the contact details of its pension cell, ensuring continued assistance for retirees in the future.

This initiative has been introduced to ensure the timely resolution of issues faced by ex-personnel and their families. A large number of BSF pensioners attended the event, and they were able to submit vital documents for pension revisions.
