GUWAHATI: Greater Guwahati Pan Shop Business Association has decided to stop sale of gutka and zarda in the shops of Guwahati.
The decision was taken following a meeting of the association on Sunday, November 17. It was taken after keeping in view of the harmful effects of tobacco and nicotine-based chewing products like gutka and zarda on human health.
As per reports, the association has criticised the government for not taking any measures to curb the menace of tobacco as it is affecting the health of people of the state.
