2021 came to Guwahati with the launch of a new cafe-lounge - Leaf Deck!
Keeping the ambiance connected to nature, the cafe has elements of green and brown across the venue. In fact, two-third area of the cafe is an open lawn making it a great spot to hang out in the heart of the busy city.
Leaf Deck is situated opposite the Guwahati Tea Auction Centre in Dispur area of Guwahati.
With reasonable pricing, the cafe caters to the needs of students, couples, and young adults.
Leaf Deck serves coffee from Lavazza- one of the oldest coffee brands from Italy. They are consistently working on making a menu inspired with dishes from around the globe that will suit the taste buds of all Guwahati residents. They have a range of dishes that include sandwiches, burgers, soups, pasta and wraps to name a few.
Speaking about the food, their European Rice Bowl, Spicy Chicken Maggi, Chicken Strips & Fries, and Grilled Chicken Sandwich is highly recommended.
For vegetarians, their Paneer Grilled Steak, Fresh Grand Roll, and Pesto Basilico are a must-try.
They also have an extensive range of mocktails and hot beverages that go perfectly with their food. Their Arizona Sunset and Special Indian Aam Panna are highly recommended.
Experimenting with the menu and increasing it one day at a time, they also have a Leaf Deck Special option. In this, you can customize dishes according to your personal taste and preferences.
Speaking to G Plus, the owner of Leaf Deck, Gazi Rahman Ahmed said, “We selected nature as our central theme because we want to give people a soothing place to relax amid the busy city life.”
“The menu has been kept very pocket friendly to cater to the needs of young adults so that they can have a good time without worrying about digging a hole in their pocket,” he added.
Though the grand launch is on February 1, the cafe has been open since early January.
