GUWAHATI: Nehru Stadium in Ulubari, Guwahati is set to restore its former coaching facilities after a closure of the field facilities due to the COVID-19. The Assam Cricket Association (ACA) is planning to resume football and cricket in the stadium.
"We are bringing four cricket grounds and two football grounds for coaching facilities. Since 2015, the grounds were reduced but now we are restoring it back to pre-2015," said Devajit Lon Saikia, Secretary, ACA.
The project is scheduled to start tentatively within the next three months.
