GUWAHATI: The idols of Ganesh, Hanuman, Ram, Sita, Laxman among others were seen dressed in Assamese traditional attire in Guwahati. The Hanuman Temple dressed up the idols on the occasion of Rongali Bihu.

The temple is located opposite Ganesh Mandir in Ganeshguri area.
Assam is celebrating Bohag Bihu or Rongali Bihu, which is also called Xaat Bihu, as it marks the beginning of the Assamese New Year.
