GUWAHATI: A mutilated dead body of a man was recovered at the Dighalipukhuri area of Guwahati on Monday morning, February 28.
The Pan Bazaar Police informed G Plus that the body was recovered today morning near the Prashaanti Restaurant located at the premises of Dighalipukhuri.
The unidentified body is suspected to be of a male aged 45-50 years and was found wearing only shorts, police say.
The head of the deceased man was partially mutilated. Police suspect that the head might have hit some rock or any concrete structure nearby. Further details in connection to the case are awaited as the body is sent for post-mortem.
