GUWAHATI: It seems burglars in Guwahati city are getting adventurous. In a new development, as many as seven shops were burgled at around 2 AM in the Chandmari area, right under the nose of the police today.
According to the police, two livestock shops, a salon, and a few grocery shops were burgled and cash was taken away in multiple burglaries near the Chandmari Police Station on Wednesday.
The police have claimed that the burglaries are a handiwork of roadside, petty, substance abusers.
