GUWAHATI: A man named Munna Ali has been found dead in a construction site in Magzine Tiniali, VIP Road in Guwahati.

A rod was inserted in his calf muscle, which caused severe bleeding. As per the initial investigation, loss of blood has been cited as the reason for his death.

This was confirmed to G Plus by Pabitra Bhuyan, Officer in Charge (OC), Noonmati Police Station. "We found his dead body near the construction site. We don't suspect this as murder as his mobile and the grass nearby showed no sign of a struggle but we await for the post mortem report," said Bhuyan.
As per sources close to the matter, the man could have been in an inebriated state when he injured himself.
