GUWAHATI: The main accused in Paltan Bazar child abuse case, Dr. Sangita Dutta has been picked up by Nandini Kakati, ADCP Central, from a house on a hillock behind Greenwood resort.
Before coming with police she insisted to take ‘make up’, informed police sources.
It is likely that the two children living with the doctor duo are not their children. They are saying they don’t even know who their parents are and where they are from, police sources said. The three year old was a new born when she was brought in 2019.
They also violated adoption laws, said police sources.
The husband of Sangita is already in police custody and the helper who allegedly tied the three-year old on the roof is in judicial custody.
