GUWAHATI: While commemorating the second death anniversary of Chester Bennington, the lead vocalist of American rock band Linkin Park, youth from Guwahati also took the opportunity to raise some funds and amenities for people affected by the floods across the state.
The concert, which doubled as a fundraiser was held at Dine Way Platz in the city.
Through the fundraiser, the organisers were able to collect shoes, clothes, basic amenities such as rice bags, biscuits, sanitary pads etc.
The event saw performances from some well-known local bands who performed Linkin Park’s popular numbers such as ‘Numb’ and ‘Leave out all the rest.’
