Designed and crafted entirely by the residents of the area, this year’s celebration highlights the age-old tradition of community cooking, a central theme recreated through thermocol head masks and intricate props.
First organised six years ago as a modest celebration, this year the pandal is being recreated with a budget of ₹2 lakh. The Bibek Path Sarbojonin Kali Puja has grown remarkably each year, gaining local attention and appreciation.
This year’s festivities, launching on October 31, feature a Kali idol and Puja pandal that bring the tribal aesthetic to life through the collective efforts of the artisans and volunteers of the area.
