GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Jal Board (GJB) has warned residents and businesses in the vicinity of Piyoli Phukan Road-Holy Child School pipeline of potential leakages due to a hydro test.
The GJB will conduct the test on the 1500mm diameter MS transmission main pipe stretching from Piyoli Phukan Road to Holy Child School from Monday, July 1 to Wednesday, July 3.

The test is part of an essential maintenance work of the water supply pipeline.
During this period, residents and businesses in the vicinity should be aware of potential water leakages at various points along the pipeline due to the increased pressure used in the testing process, the GJB said.

However, it has assured the public that any detected leakages will be promptly addressed and rectified by their maintenance teams.
