Guwahati Girl Clinches Gold At National Taekwondo Poomsae Championship In Odisha

 

GUWAHATI: Harsha Singha from Guwahati won the gold medal at the 3rd Junior & 3rd Senior National Taekwondo Poomsae Championship in Odisha.

The event was held from June 28 to June 30 at the Jawaharlal Indoor Stadium, in Cuttack, Odisha.

Talking to GPlus, Harsha Singha said, “It feels great to win the gold, but consistency is very important as I am preparing myself for the upcoming World Championship to be held in November in Hong Kong.”

Singha previously clinched the team silver medal in the Over-30 female category at the 2024 Asian Taekwondo Championships held from May 14 to May 16, at Da Nang, Vietnam. Additionally, she also previously won a gold and bronze medalist at the 2019 South Asia Games, and is now gearing up to participate in the World Taekwondo Poomsae Championship to be held in Hong Kong in November
