GUWAHATI: The Ganeshguri Flyover in Guwahati will be inaugurated on October 22, said Assam Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday.
The Public Works Department (PWD), health and education minister of Assam said that the flyover will be opened for the public from the day of Sasthi Puja during Durga Puja.
The 476-meter flyover is being built under State-Own Priority Scheme-General with a financial outlay of Rs 58.76 crore.
"We are currently giving final touches to the Ganeshguri flyover and it will be inaugurated on October 22," sources at the PWD informed G Plus.
Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, PWD minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and cabinet minister of law and justice Siddhartha Bhattacharya are expected to be present during the occasion.
