GUWAHATI: The Paltan Bazar police in Guwahati busted two people who claimed to be ULFA militants.
Pranab Bhuyan and Raju Das were arrested from Hotel Atithi in the Paltan Bazar area of Guwahati.
"They were demanding money by posing as Ulfa militant. The Crime Branch along with the police caught them," said Moon Prakash Tiwari, Officer in Charge (OC) of Paltan Bazar Police Station.
As per sources, this is not the first time they have demanded money by threatening people.
