GUWAHATI: A team from Cyber PS successfully recovered the full amount of ₹3.64 lakhs on Friday, December 20 which was credited into the bank account of a victim.

Earlier, the victim had fallen prey to a digital arrest scam and lost the amount. The quick and effective intervention by Cyber PS ensured that the funds were safely restored.
The “digital arrest” scam is becoming increasingly rapidly with fraudsters deceiving victims into believing they are under legal threat.
