Guwahati Celebrates Vishwakarma Puja With Fun & Fervour

GUWAHATI: Today, September 17 in Guwahati, Vishwakarma Puja has been celebrated with vibrant enthusiasm and traditional fervour. The city’s streets, pandals and homes are adorned with colorful decorations, reflecting the devotion and creativity of the participants.

The Vishwakarma Temple, at Kamakhya Gate, Guwahati, was adorned with decoration and flowers as devotees lined up to offer prayers, flowers and sweets to honour the deity. The temple believed to be one of the few Vishwakarma temples in the country and one of the oldest, saw a huge number of devotees today.

Many commercial establishments amd private housing societies as well as individual houses celebrated Vishwakarma Puja in and around Guwahati. It was a beautiful sight to behold as the entire city looked colourful and festive feel popping out kept the vibe of the city alive.

Lord Vishwakarma, the divine architect and engineer of the Universe, as per the Hindu, is widely prayed in Assam as ondustrial and commercial establishments joined in the celebrations, performing special pujas and rituals to seek blessings for prosperity and success in their endeavors.

The atmosphere of Guwahati was filled with a sense of reverence and joy, with cultural programs and processions adding to the festive spirit. The day highlights the deep respect for craftsmanship and innovation, as people from all walks of life come together to pay homage to the divine creator.
