GUWAHATI: Assamese film actress Jahnabi Saikia and pro-talk ULFA leader Pranamoy Rajguru have been detained from a house in Punjabari in connection with the Zoo Road blast that rocked the city on May 15.

The arrest was made a day after the blast in which 11 people were injured. The arrest followed a raid carried out by a crime branch team led by Deepak Kumar, Commissioner of Police, Guwahati in a house in Namghar path, Panjabari.

It should be mentioned that both Pranamoy Rajguru and Jahnabi Saikia were together during the time of their detention
