GUWAHATI: Guwahati based businessman and social activist Anand Kumar Jain has donated a sum of Rs 2,00,11,111 as support towards the fight against coronavirus.
Jain met with Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on April 7 and handed over a cheque for the same.
Many individuals, businesses and NGOs have come forward and contributed towards Covid-19 relief fund.
So far, the Assam govt has received a sum of over Rs 20 crore as donations from the citizens to fight the pandemic.
