Guwahati Barsapara Stadium Likely To Be A Venue For ICC Cricket World Cup 2023

GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Barsapara Stadium has reportedly been shortlisted as a venue for the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup, which is set to commence on October 5.

The competition will take place over 46 days and will be held in 12 cities across India.

According to media reports, Guwahati's Barsapara Stadium has been added to the list of World Cup venues. Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Dharamsala, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Indore, Rajkot, and Mumbai are among the other cities.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has declared that the 2023 Cricket World Cup final will be held on November 19 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, India, according to EspnCricinfo.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) typically reveals the schedule a year in advance, but there was a delay this time due to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) guaranteeing tax exemption and visa approval for the Pakistan cricket team, as per media reports.
