GUWAHATI: The Assam Government during the state cabinet meeting held yesterday, has granted its approval for a redevelopment project of the Assam Police Reserve Campus in Guwahati, which has received revised administrative approval with an estimated budget of ₹605.95 crore.
The Assam Police Reserve Campus in Guwahati has long been a vital hub for police personnel, serving as both a residence and a training centre.
The redevelopment project is an initiative that envisions modernising the entire campus. It includes the construction of new and improved residential quarters for police personnel, state-of-the-art training facilities, administrative buildings, recreational areas, and enhanced security infrastructure. This has been undertaken keeping in mind the safety and quality of life of the personnel.
