GUWAHATI: A man was found in Guwahati’s Hengrabari area on Thursday, December 27 under unknown circumstances in Public Health Engineering Department Quarters.

The victim identified as Bwijen Das, 54-year old man employed in PHE Department. However, the reason of his death is uncertain.
Talking to GPlus, an official from Dispur Police station said, "It appears that excessive alcohol consumption led to his death. He had issues with his family and apparently divorce proceedings were ongoing."
Further investigation is underway to ascertain the details surrounding the incident.
