GUWAHATI: In an untoward incident, an ambulance of 108 services suddenly caught fire at Jatia, Kahilipara in Guwahati. The incident occurred on February 23, Tuesday.
As per sources of the 108 service, the fire occurred due to certain technical glitches. There were reportedly no patients in the vehicle when the accident took place.
The fire was doused by the fire brigade immediately thereafter.
Prafulla Kumar Das, officer-in-charge of Dispur Police Station in Guwahati, speaking to G Plus said that no injuries have been reported however the matter is under investigation.
