GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Municipal Corporation has on 20th October notified that trade license of all businesses under the jurisdiction of the corporation will be automatically renewed this year upon clearance of trade tax.
As such, no documents of any kind including receipts of payment of property tax need to be submitted for renewal of the trade license.
Earlier, the Guwahati Municipal Corporation had urged citizens to clear off all property tax, trade tax, water bills, etc without failure on or before 27th October 2020. Failure of the same may invite interruption of services for the defaulter, it stated.
