GUWAHATI: Basistha police on Wednesday detained two women with drugs in Khanapara area in Guwahati. The police also seized brown sugar from the duo.
According to reports, a team from the Basistha police apprehended two women identified as Shanti Chetry and Padumi Begum with five containers of brown sugar along with three mobile phones.
It is to be mentioned that both the accused used to stay under the busy Khanapara flyover and were running the drugs business.
