GUWAHATI: Guwahati Traffic Police took to Twitter to notify citizens of parking areas across the city allotted by Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC). Citizens were requested to park in the designated parking spaces and avoid parking on the roads and other areas where parking of vehicles is prohibited.
“These are the designated parking areas, where if you are nearby then you should go park here and not on the road or a ‘No Parking’ area, this is what we wanted to convey. These are not the only parking places, there are others also apart from the ones mentioned in the list, the list is not exhaustive,” said Mayank Joshi, DCP Traffic, Guwahati Police.
