GUWAHATI: A group of unidentified youths attacked a businessman at Gotanagar locality on November 15.
According to reports, the man was threatened by a group of young men who brandished a gun in front of him along with making undue demands.
Speaking to GPlus, the police official from Jalukbari Police Station said, "It happened near the Gotanagar nursery during night hours when the businessman was returning home."
“There were 3 boys who suddenly appeared before his vehicle and tried to rob him and one of them was carrying a gun,” he further added.
During his escapade, the boys vandalised his car. However, the businessman was unharmed as he managed to escape.
Immediately after that he went to Jalukbari Police Station and filed a complaint and the case is being investigated. Further details are awaited.
