Governor releases a book "My Flirtations with Politics"

Governor of Assam Hon’ble Shri. P.B.Acharya along with the Chief Minister Shri Sarbananda Sonowal released a book “My Flirtations with Politics” authored by Arun Sathe at a function held in Raj Bhawan on Monday evening.   The Governor Shri Acharya expressed happiness while releasing the book and spoke at length about his association with Shri Sathe and the wave length they shared during their stay in Nagpur. Shri Acharya termed Shri Sathe to be a great social activist, an advocate and above all a person with a great soul. Shri Acharya in his speech said that “Before reaching to any goal the road map should be set in advance.  For transforming a society into a responsible one, we should also utilize the services of the huge pool of energy of our ex-service men, dedicated house wives, women groups and  scouts and guides etc.” The Chief Minister of Assam Shri Sarbananda Sonowal while congratulating Shri Arun Sathe on the launch of the book said that good deeds never die and Shri Sathe would be remembered forever for his good works. He stressed on the need to eradicate poverty through following the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi and Deendayal Upadhaya.  He also said that the present government would work relentlessly for the upliftment of the poor and the needy.
