Leading the parade is a bipedal snow leopard, symbolising the Himalayas, followed by the gharial, a freshwater crocodile native to northern and central India.

Other animals depicted include the Bengal Tiger, India’s national animal, the red panda, and the Indian paradise flycatcher. Each creature is dressed in traditional attire and surrounded by indigenous musical instruments, highlighting a nod to the nation’s cultural diversity.

The illustrator drew inspiration from India’s vast ecosystems, spanning the snowy Himalayas to the rainforests of the Western Ghats.
