GUWAHATI: Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) has come up with a new plan that involves the active participation of citizens in keeping the city clean.
Authorities from the organisation have appealed to citizens to WhatsApp pictures of people throwing waste openly on the roads to win prize money worth Rs. 500.
These photographs can be mailed to gmcpgo@gmail.com
The corporation also issued phone numbers where officials can be contacted. They are- 8811007000, 7399003001, 7399003002, 7399003003 and 7399003004.
