GUWAHATI: The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has been directed to declare the results of Combined Competitive (Main) Examinations (CCE-M), 2018 and to conduct the interview thereafter by the Gauhati High Court.
However, the Commission was asked to seek the High Court's permission before declaring the results.
The order was issued by Justice Manash Ranjan Pathak against case number (WP-C 3228/2019) regarding the APSC's main examinations, 2018, by a few aspirants stating that the answer keys of a few questions of the preliminary examinations were wrong.
Earlier, the Gauhati HC had stayed the declaration of the mains results, and hence the selection process was put on hold.
Reportedly, the Commission revised the papers of the preliminary examinations of 2018, and a few more candidates were found to have qualified.
