GUWAHATI: A road accident occurred on Monday, November 11, at Ranighat in Assam's Cachar district, claiming the lives of four individuals. The collision involved an auto-rickshaw and a pick-up vehicle, which collided head-on, resulting in the fatalities.

One person sustained critical injuries in the crash and was promptly taken to Silchar Medical College and Hospital (SMCH) for emergency treatment.
An official from the Silchar police station confirmed the incident speaking to GPlus, stating, "An accident took place at Ranighat where four people were killed, and one is critically injured."
Further investigation is underway.
