GUWAHATI: Polling for the bye-elections in Assam gained momentum, with voter turnout reaching 72.96% by 5:00 PM. Earlier in the day, voter turnout in Assam's bye-elections has reached 30.31% by 11:30 AM, with the overall polling figure standing at 12.55% by 9:00 AM.
