GUWAHATI: Former England cricketer Kevin Peter Pietersen is coming to India next week to shoot a film “A KAZIRANGA Story.”
Taking to his Twitter handle Pietersen wrote, “ I’m coming to India next week to film, A KAZIRANGA Story. A week of learning the script starts! #IncredibleIndia”
Pietersen played for England from 2004-2014.
Speaking to G Plus, Assam Forest officials confirmed that Pietersen will be in Kaziranga National Park for the documentary feature, however, the dates were not confirmed.
It needs to be mentioned that Pietersen has been working dedicatedly for the welfare and conservation of endangered animals in South Africa.
Pietersen also established a charity - Saving Our Rhinos Africa & India (SORAI) to support rhinoceros conservation.
Further, in 2019 he also featured in Beast of Man podcast which showcased his role in combating illegal poaching, particularly that of rhinoceros.
