GUWAHATI: Former Director General of Police Khagen Sarma passed away on October 25.
According to reports, Sarma who was suffering from prolong illness passed away at around 7.15 PM at the Sun Valley Hospital.
Sarma was a 1982-batch IPS officer of the Assam-Meghalaya cadre and who took charge as the DGP in 2014.
