GUWAHATI: Former Assam chief minister Prafulla Kumar Mahanta was admitted to a private hospital in Guwahati early on Friday morning.
The former CM was admitted to Down Town Hospital after he complained of chest pains. The Down Town authorities meanwhile clarified to G Plus, that Mahanta is now stable. As per an insider, he is suffering from Gastroenterological problems.
Mahanta is the Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) MLA from the Barhampur Assembly constituency in central Assam’s Nagaon district.
