As per the forecast issued for January 23, and the following days, fog or mist is expected to blanket the city and its surrounding areas during the early hours, with the weather clearing up later in the day.

-Guwahati Airport: Maximum daytime temperatures throughout this week will range between 25°C and 27°C, with minimum temperatures hovering around 14°C to 15°C.
-Dispur: Daytime highs are predicted between 26°C and 28°C, while nighttime lows will stay consistent at 15°C, in the week.
-IIT Guwahati: Temperatures are expected to peak between 25°C and 27°C, with minimum temperatures falling to around 14°C to 15°C, in this week.
The weather conditions in Guwahati come as a seasonal transition, following recent colder winter days earlier in January but a hotter phase after Magh Bihu. Residents have been advised to exercise caution during morning hours due to reduced visibility caused by fog, especially while commuting.
With partly cloudy skies predicted later in the day, the temperatures are likely to remain comfortable. This continuation of foggy weather aligns with typical seasonal patterns observed in the city during late January.
