GUWAHATI: A flower vendor was stabbed in Guwahati’s Ganeshguri on Friday, February 14. The victim is identified as Bhupen Barman. He sustained serious injuries and was immediately rushed to Gauhati Medical College & Hospital for treatment.

The attack was allegedly due to business-related disputes. The accused, identified as Sankar Baruah, has been apprehended by the police.
Speaking to GPlus, an official from Dispur police station confirmed the incident, stating, “A flower vendor was stabbed by a person due to business reasons around 7:30 AM. The accused, Sankar Baruah, has been taken into custody, and further investigation is underway regarding the circumstances.”
