GUWAHATI: The first phase of Gunotsav 2024 came to an end with 5,18,081 students or about 97.68% of students having attended it on January 4 in 5816 schools.
Eight districts in Assam completed the first phase of Gunotsav 2024 with Barpeta having recorded the highest number of schools participated with 737 schools.
Nagaon records the highest number of students participated with 1,01,015 students. Sivasagar showcases the highest percentage of students who participated with 99.59% as student participation per cent.
Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu also took to X to put out, “Thanks to all External Evaluators, Teachers, District Administration and my colleague Hon'ble Ministers @JogenMohanAssam , @cmpatowary and @TheAshokSinghal for participating in the 1st phase #Gunutsav today in 8 districts. 518081 (97.68%) students attended Gunutsav today in 5816 schools.”
