GUWAHATI: In a noble gesture, locals of Guwahati have come together to install a portable fan at a traffic booth in Lokhra, Guwahati.
The fan has been installed to provide respite to traffic police who has to stand for hours under the scorching sun to do hi duty.

Speaking to G Plus, Prasanta Saikia, DCP Traffic, Guwahati said, “Locals have helped us installing this fan at the traffic booth in Lokhara.
“The administration also devising a plan to install such fans at other traffic booths in the city.”
