GUWAHATI: Two individuals have been apprehended after heroin was seized by the Special Task Force, (STF) Assam, on April 30, in Dakhingaon.

In an operation, under the jurisdiction of the Hatigaon Police Sation, 12.5 gram of heroin in a soap box was confiscated along with ₹30,200 cash.

Two mobile phones and one two-wheeler vehicle were also recovered in the raid.
The operation led to the apprehension of Babidul Haque (age 26) and Nur Mohammad (age 24) who were allegedly involved in the illicit activities.
Further investigations are underway as legal proceedings are being undertaken.
