GUWAHATI: Swimmer Elvis Ali Hazarika from Assam will attempt to cross the Irish North Channel in Ireland covering a distance of 42 kilometres to spread awareness to save the one-horned rhinoceros.
Rimo Saha from West Bengal will be his relay partner for this initiative.
Recently in August, Hazarika became the first ever Assamese to swim the Catalina Channel for a distance of 80 kilometres from the United States of America to reach Mexico.
