GUWAHATI: A road accident occurred in the Gobardhan area of Chandrapur near Guwahati on Wednesday, March 12, resulting in the death of one man and leaving two others seriously injured.

The incident took place when a speeding, unidentified vehicle rammed into an e-rickshaw from behind.
The deceased has been identified as Ratan Das. The other two in the e-rickshaw, Rupali Das and Bipul Das, sustained critical injuries.
Following the accident, both injured victims were rushed to Gauhati Medical College & Hospital (GMCH) for urgent medical attention.
A police official from Pragjyotishpur police station stated, “A person has lost his life, and two others have been injured after a vehicle crashed into an e-rickshaw. The injured victims have been taken to GMCH for treatment, and efforts are underway to trace the vehicle involved in the accident.”
