The amusing case has come to light in Rajasthan. The Deputy superintendent of police (DSP) was delivering a speech on International Anti-Corruption Day held at the ACB office in Sawai, Madhopur, on December 9th. DSP Meena was present there as the keynote speaker.

DSP Meena was caught taking a bribe of Rs 80,000 from The District Transport Officer (DTO) and both of them were arrested. This was the first time that the RPS level officer posted had been trapped and later arrested.

It was later discovered that the DSP was continuously watched by ACB and the team of other police officials after several complaints were received against him for bribery.

On raiding DSP Meena's house thereafter, the team recovered land papers and cash of Rs 1.61 lakhs.
