GUWAHATI: Dry days have been announced in Assam from April 21 to April 23 in keeping with the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections 2019.
In association with that, the Kamrup (Metropolitan) Deputy Commissioner has precluded that the ownership, dissemination and closeout of alcohol including spirituous, aged or inebriating liquors or different substances of similar nature from 5 pm on April 21 to 5 pm on April 23, 2019.

All the wholesale/bonded warehouses, IMFL Retail 'OFF' and 'On' shops including Clun 'On,' hotels 'On,' and country shops will stay shut amid this period.
Any infringement of the request will be dealt with under the significant arrangement of the Assam Excise Act and Rules in the respective constituencies.
The third phase of the Lok Sabha elections will be held on April 23, 2019 in Guwahati, Barpeta, Dhubri and Kokrajhar in Assam.
