GUWAHATI: The last rites of Dipali Borthakur will take place at Navagraha Crematorium in Chenikuthi, Guwahati on 22 December.
The funeral procession will leave the residence of Dipali Borthakur at 11 AM.
Borthakur ’s body will be taken to All India Radio (Akashvani) Guwahati, Rabindra Bhawan, Assam Sahitya Sabha head office and AASU head office.
The Assam govt has announced a state level honour.
"The Assam government will provide a state level farewell to this great soul", said Naba Kumar Doley, Minister for Cultural Affairs, Assam.
