GUWAHATI: Debajyoti Hazarika has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC).
Earlier Debeswar Malakar was heading the Corporation, who is now been transferred as Commissioner Secretary of the Employment Department.
Hazarika served as the secretary of Animal Husbandary and Veterinary Department.
