GUWAHATI: Three young girls fell into Dihing river in Assam’s Margherita under Tinsukia district while taking 'selfie' along the river banks on January 31.
The deceased have been identified as Hemashri Sonar, Sujata Chetri and Elina Tamang. The trio were students studying in 9th Standard.
As per reports, the three of them along with their family had gone to a picnic party near the banks of the river.
