GUWAHATI: The Central Water Commission (CWC) predicts high rainfall in the West and Middle Assam districts on May 4 and May 5 as a result of cyclone Fani.
Henceforth, State Disaster Response Force personnel are placed in 40 locations of the state and National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has been reached for pre-position in six locations- Cachar, Barpeta, Bongaigaon, Sonitpur, Tinsukia and Jorhat districts.
