GUWAHATI: In a noble gesture, a cyclist, Jestin Shaji travelled all the way from Kerala to Assam in his cycle to raise funds for the flood-affected victims in the state.
It is to be mentioned that Shaji also cycled across Assam to raise awareness on reducing single-use plastic.

Shaji donated the amount of Rs. 1 lakh to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
Appreciating his noble cause, Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal on his Twitter wrote, "Cyclist Jestin Shaji from Kerala raised Rs. 1,00,000 for the cause of #AssamFloods and donated the amount to Chief Minister's Relief Fund. We appreciate the humane gesture & wish him success in his unique mission of creating awareness on reducing single-use plastic."
